Meet Lin, one of the fantastic ladies who joined us on our first ever Ladies Bodyboard Retreat in Cornwall, UK!

She travelled all the way from Norway in her converted camper van to be a part of this epic bodyboarding adventure, and it hasn’t disappointed! Joining an international group of guests from the USA, UK and other parts of Europe, Lin and the girls have enjoyed an epic week of waves and weather on the beautiful Cornish coast.

Using both the north and south coast lines as their playground, they’ve had the pleasure of being coached by not just Bodyboard Holidays founder Rob Barber, but also former European Women’s Bodyboard Champion Lisa Cutts and 2017 World Champion Iain Campbell. How cool is that!?!

Lin is looking to further improve her riding, and like many of our guests, she’s already eyeing her next epic bodyboarding adventure. Bali and Portugal are high on her list – can you blame her?

I am a really novice boarder but thought it’d be fun to learn in a group of women. It was a great holiday. North Cornwall is an iconic place to learn and the surf staff were friendly and approachable- Rob and Iain were so enthusiastic and great teachers. I’d highly recommend it!

An amazing week starting out on my bodyboard journey. The instructors are at the top of their game but super patient and encouraging, and use their skills to explain technique as well as ensure a great time in the water. Lovely, supportive and encouraging group of women, who have been a privilege to get to know. I’ll be back!

There is 1 thing I absolutely love about Bodyboard Holidays coaching weekends, as well as the bodyboarding of course..... The people - everyone I have met is soooo supportive & encouraging, whatever stage in your boogie journey you are. It really boosts your confidence, which then enables you to challenge yourself & improve more than you thought you could.

Rob & the coaching team work super hard & go out of their way to provide the best experience possible. They have huge amounts of knowledge about the sport & the venues to enable you to get the most out of the weekend.

I've met some amazing folks & made friends for life from amongst the other guests too.

I had the most incredible time during the 7 day women's bodyboarding retreat. Rob, Lisa, Iain, Erin, and Rosita are all amazing instructors with so much patience. They truly believe in their students, regardless of age or ability. I would gladly recommend BBH to anyone, so much so that I'm signed up for my next trip already!
