Bodyboard-Holidays Croyde coaching weekend sponsored by Ocean Corduroy went down last weekend and we couldn’t have hoped for more.
With Croyde being quite a central point with great access links to the whole of the U.K we had a a large group of frothing boogers from all over the country come and join us. We all stayed together in a cluster of luxury caravans just a stones throw away from the ocean which meant just a hop skip and a jump and we were out back in the breaking waves.
We split up in to three separate ability groups ensuring that everyone’s abilities were catered for. Whilst the beginners were focusing on some of the more basic bodyboarding manoeuvres, the advanced guys and gals were working on their tight reverse spins and projected rolls. We were graced with sunshine, 2-3ft waves and off shore winds all weekend.
Croyde village is the perfect place after a hard days bodyboarding to hang out, relax in the coffee shops and have a nice bite to eat and great evening meal out at our favourite local restaurant.
Everyone left well and truly sun kissed and surfed out with good memories of what was an absolute blast of coaching weekend. With summer now in full swing and the swells still rolling in we cant wait for the next one.
