With spring now truly upon us and an absolutely perfect surf forecast the April coaching weekend sponsored by Section Bodyboarding was set to be an absolute blast and it definitely did not disappoint.
With two groups of mixed abilities we spilt up and went to different locations in Newquay and surrounding areas.
We found empty line-ups and perfect waves on our travels and the best part is we didn’t have to share them with anyone else.
After an early surf then a second session the crew were ready to check out the Cornish Bodyboard Series competition being held at a popular Cornish beach break.
We watched on as the competitors battled it out and the crew shadow judged some heats to get a feel for what it might be like to be a competition judge.
The next day with slightly smaller but equally as fun bodyboarding conditions we stayed closer to home and both groups scored perfect waves at Fistral beach in Newquay.
Everyone left with Section Bodyboarding goodies in hand, smiles on faces and memories of what was another fantastic Bodyboard coaching weekend.
