One of the highlights of our annual El Salvador trips is catching up with the incredible local bodyboarders. Leading the pack is the legend, Zancudo. A man who used to bodyboard in the traditional manner, wearing swim fins and riding in the prone or drop knee style. Then one day, he got such a bad fin rub that he took his fins off and never put them back on again. Day after day he finessed the challenging art of stand up bodyboarding. Now his is simply the best to have ever done it. Seeing him streak passed you as he tears another perfect wave to pieces is one of the joys of our daily sessions.
