In the evenings we’ll round up the day in a convivial fashion by going out for group dinners; relaxing and getting to know each other over great food. It’s a heartwarming way to reflect on the events in the waves that day.

Born and raised in Cornwall, our business has its roots in Newquay, the surf capital of the UK. We run bodyboard retreats here year round, both weekend breaks and weeklong Cornish explorations. Our Newquay Bodyboard Retreat is our most tried and tested destination, and over the years we’ve had thousands of bodyboarding guests join us and build their confidence in the waves. There has been such an increase in demand for bodyboarding tuition recently that we’ve actually just added a new weeklong women’s bodyboard retreat in July 2024. The Newquay bodyboard retreats are ideal for enjoying all the extras that Cornwall has to offer, such as surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, coasteering, wild swimming, coffee shop culture, and local heritage.
Venturing beyond the Cornish borders, we also offer retreats to Croyde, the jewel of the North Devon coastline. There is nothing like the pumping bodyboarding waves of Croyde to get your heart racing, it’s an incredible surf destination, and a legendary booger hotspot.
Our near neighbour, and favourite road trip spot is The Gower and gives you the chance to go bodyboarding in Wales. Just a few hours in the car, over the bridge and suddenly we’re in another world at Llangennith Beach. This stunning crescent of sand is backed by beautiful scenery, idyllic campsites and perfect beach barbecue spots. The waves speak for themselves at this epic beach break, and there are fun waves for all abilities to be found.
