Job Title: Bodyboard Holidays Trip Leader and Instructor

Position summary:

Bodyboard-Holidays is a unique international activity holidays provider and has been running bodyboarding holidays to destinations worldwide including Morocco, El Salvador, Ireland, Portugal, Wales, Costa Rica and Indonesia as well as UK coaching weekends.

Bodyboard-Holidays continues to maintain its reputation as a leading bodyboarding school and holidays company that provides first class coaching by professional and friendly instructors all set within amazing bodyboarding destinations with first class accommodation. We are looking for the right person to join the team. This is a dream job for a bodyboarder with the correct skill set.

This is a rarely recruited for position and it is likely to be snapped up. So please don’t hesitate to come back to us with your submission.

Certificates and qualifications

In date lifeguard qualifications, if you don’t have this you can still apply as we offer Lifeguard qualifications as part of our training.

Full driving licence preferred

Times of Work:

Available for work on either or all of the following:

§  International Bodyboard-Holidays
§  UK and Ireland based coaching weekends
§  Newquay based instructional work

Dates of Work:

These would be trip/event based and therefore not constant so would suit those with a primary income in place already, or those studying etc.

We are particularly looking for specialists in each territory that we operate. See the locations here (

Preferred skills:

Experienced bodyboarder who has mastered all of the key manoeuvres, is fit and regularly bodyboards (on a daily/weekly basis). They must display excellent waterman skills.

Confident, sociable and not afraid of speaking in front of groups.

Experienced traveller with valid passport.

Multi language speaking would be a huge benefit. Good English is essential.

Excellent leadership qualities’. With the ability to confidently liaise with external providers such as accommodation managers, drivers, chefs and local guides.

Video and photography skills.

Organised, reliable with excellent time management skills.

Pay rates: To be determined as a reflection of the destination, group size and the experience of the instructor.
